SHERWOOD SOUTH ANIMAL EMERGENCY AND CRITICAL CARE CENTER (SSAECCC) is open Monday through Friday from 6PM– 7AM, and Saturday from 12PM–7AM Monday morning and ALL HOLIDAYS. An Emergency Veterinarian with support staff is onsite at all times to meet the emergency and critical care needs of the Greater Baton Rouge pet community. After discharged from the Emergency and Critical Care Center all information regarding your pet’s visit will be transferred to your regular veterinarian to keep them informed about your pet’s health.

FEES AND PAYMENT

There is an initial fee for each patient who is examined by one of our veterinarians. All other services, including diagnostic testing, surgery, medications, and hospitalization are additional. After examining your pet, our veterinarian will develop a treatment plan appropriate for your pet's condition. A 50% deposit is required for all patients who are admitted to the hospital for treatment. Sherwood South Animal Emergency and Critical Care Center requests payment in full when your pet is discharged from the hospital. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, checks, cash and Care Credit. You can log onto www.carecredit.com and get preapproved before you come in.
